Description
Abstract
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are key regulators of post-transcriptional gene expression in the nervous system, where they fine-tune gene activity. Highly enriched in neural tissue, miRNAs influence neuroplasticity by modulating processes such as neurogenesis, synaptic remodeling, dendritic growth, and mechanisms like long-term potentiation and depression. This project explores how specific miRNAs contribute to these adaptive changes within the brain.
