Description

Abstract

•Colorectal cancer (CRC) is third cause of cancer deaths and diagnoses in general populations, but also the third leading cause of mortality in Hispanic/Latino communities.
•California has the third largest Latino/Hispanic population and has demonstrated increase in CRC cases but is an overlooked and understudied population.
•The relationship between demographic variables and gaps in CRC screening is understudied within Hispanics/Latinos. This compounded with the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on preventative health services is crucial to understand how to uplift this community’s well-being.
